Supplies Needed:

Paint Shop Pro
Screen shots are version XI

No outside filters or plug-ins are needed

1.Open a new image, 200 x 200, flood fill with white.

2. Select your Airbrush with these settings, color #F4F2F2.

Airbrush Settings

3. Spray over the white. I know you can't see it very well, but that's okay. We just need a slightly different color to give it some texture.

4. Go to EFFECTS | TEXTURE EFFECTS | ROUGH LEATHER with these settings:

Rough Leather settings

5. Then go to EFFECTS | TEXTURE EFFECTS | FINE LEATHER with these settings:

Fine Leather Settings

6. Now we just need to make it seamless. EFFECTS | IMAGE EFFECTS | SEAMLESS TILING

Seamless Tile Settings

7. That's it for your tile. Now, we'll do some variations. To make the gold spray webbing tile that's in my example follow steps 1 - 4 then make the following change to the color for the FINE LEATHER effect. You'll get slight differences in textures this way too.

Spray Webbing-Gold Webbing

Color variations: You can change this tile by playing with the color settings on the fine leather settings or you can take your gray tile and use the Colorize option: ADJUST | HUE AND SATURATION | COLORIZE to get colored tiles.

I hope you've enjoyed the tutorial.
